Per scoprire tra le pieghe del tempo il nostro destino. Per conoscere, sperimentare e avventurarsi in nuovi mondi.
Perhaps the only engine of hope for humanity is enchantment. The desire for wonder and the search of the sublime have been the guiding stars for 3ORIZZONTI. To move away from an anthropocentric vision and start to listen to the Universe. To discover our own destiny through the folds of time. To get to know, experiment and venture towards new worlds.

In un continuo dialogo tra elemento materico e pensiero astratto, tra micro e macro, tra vicino e lontano. Abbiamo trasformato la destinazione d'uso di tecnologie umane per raccontare le entità inumane. Il cristallo di gesso delle miniere di Naica è diventato il profilo delle catene montuose dei pianeti ghiacciati. La roccia vulcanica di Lanzarote ha preso il dinamismo dei meteoriti nelle sperimentazioni acquatiche. Lane e fibre di vetro hanno incendiato i paesaggi lavici.
L'inchiostro si è fatto interprete dei moti celesti. Un nuovo punto di vista per allontanare lo sguardo da noi stessi verso ciò che c'è fuori: il paesaggio. Trasformarlo da sfondo della nostra esistenza a suo Autore. Abbiamo voluto mettere il Paesaggio in primo piano. Renderlo protagonista, personaggio. E indagarne la volontà, l'intelligenza con cui regola la nostra vita.
In constant dialogue between materic element and abstract thought, between micro and macro, between near and far.
We have transformed the intended use of human technology to tell of unhuman entities. The chalk crystals of the Naica mines have become the profile of mountain chains upon icy planets. The volcanic rock of Lanzarote has taken the dynamics of the meteorites in aquatic experiments. Wool and fibreglass have flared up into lava landscapes. Ink represents the movement of stars. A new point of view to set our gaze inwards out: to the landscape. To transform it from backdrop of our existence to Author. We wanted to put the Landscape at the forefront. To make it our star, our main character. As well as to delve into its will, the intelligence with which it controls our life.

L'Uomo è diventato parte della memoria geologica del nostro pianeta. Ha costruito uno suo strato che ricopre la Terra: l'Antropocene. Con la tecnologia ha creato una nuova realtà, virtuale, aldilà di ciò che esiste. E ha posto le basi per la propria distruzione per come oggi lo conosciamo. Ma ogni atto resta incluso in un processo che conferma la distanza tra l'Uomo e la Natura. 3ORIZZONTI vuole raccontare una storia che riesca ad esaltare i punti di contatto tra Uomo e Natura. Facendo rotta verso la bellezza.
Man has become part of the geological memory of our planet. It has built a stratum which covers the Earth: Anthropocene. With its technology humanity has created a new reality, the virtual one, far beyond that which exists. And it has set itself up for the destruction of the way of living it knows now. But each act remains included in a path which confirms the distance between Man and Nature. 3ORIZZONTI wants to tell a story which can reveal the points of contact between Man and Nature. Travelling towards beauty.

Dopo più di 40 anni dal lancio e oltre 20 miliardi di chilometri percorsi, assistiamo alle ultime comunicazioni della sonda Voyager 1, il primo oggetto costruito dall'uomo a varcare lo spazio interstellare.
Uscito dalle turbolenze dell’eliosfera e incontrando i primi raggi cosmici intergalattici, Voyager non ci parlerà più. Varcando i confini dell’ignoto, non sentiremo più i “suoni del silenzio” provenienti dallo spazio. Andrà verso l’infinito portando con sé i segni dell'Umanità, dal teorema di Pitagora inciso su una lastra di rame placcata in oro, alla musica di Mozart.
A lui il compito di estendere il nostro orizzonte. A noi quello di rimanere in ascolto.
After more than 40 years from the launch and more than 20 billion kilometres, we are listening to the final communication from the Voyager 1 probe, first object built by man to move beyond interstellar space. Once it has left the turbulence of the first intergalactic cosmic rays, Voyager will not speak to us ever again. Moving unto the unknown, we will never again hear “the sound of silence” coming from space. It will move towards the infinite bringing with it the signs of Humanity, such as Pythagoras’s theorem carved upon a sheet of gold-plated copper, and Mozart’s music.
Voyager’s mission is to extend our horizon. Our mission is to continue listening.
